VECTORQ LAB · ASTERWISE
Terms of Service
Version terms-2026-09-12-v1 · Effective 2026-09-12
The agreement for using AsterWise accounts, prepaid credit, APIs and playground.
Operator and agreement
AsterWise is operated by VectorQ Lab in Australia. These Terms govern your use of the AsterWise website, account, APIs, documentation and playground. By accepting them or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked below.
You must provide accurate account information, keep authentication and API credentials secure, and use the service only where you are legally permitted to do so. One personal account is provided per user at launch.
Service and compatibility
AsterWise provides prepaid access to the public aster-code and aster-work products through Responses, Chat Completions and Messages compatibility endpoints. Compatibility statements describe the documented interface and do not promise that every model, coding-agent harness, field, attachment or workload has been individually qualified.
Models, providers, routes, limits and features may change through new published versions. We may pause admission, restrict unsafe routes or suspend access to protect customers, providers, the service or its financial integrity.
Prepaid credit and pricing
Purchases add prepaid USD-denominated service credit to your AsterWise account. Credit is not a bank account, stored-value payment product or cash balance, cannot be transferred between customers, and does not earn interest. Purchased credit does not expire under the launch policy.
Usage is charged at the price version selected when a request is admitted. A successful request can make the balance slightly negative; later funds first cover that amount. Failed and cancelled requests are free. Provider wallet funding is an operator expense control and does not reserve or change customer credit.
Your content and service processing
You retain the rights you have in content you submit. You give VectorQ Lab the permission needed to transmit, process, store and reproduce that content to operate, secure and support the service. When account-level research collection is enabled, the separate Data Collection Policy describes the additional retained copy and its purposes.
You are responsible for ensuring that you may submit the content and that your use of generated output is lawful and appropriate. Model output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable; review it before relying on it or running generated code.
Availability and support
The launch service has no uptime, response-time or support SLA. Capacity, providers and external services can be unavailable. We may change, pause or discontinue features, but financial records and mandatory customer remedies remain governed by applicable law.
Support is provided through support@asterwise.dev, with the operating response target stated in the public documentation. A target is not a contractual guarantee.
Suspension, closure and refunds
We may restrict or suspend access for security, abuse, non-payment, provider risk, legal requirements or material breach. Financial restrictions are kept separate from identity lifecycle where possible. You may request account closure through support; operational and financial records may be retained after access is disabled.
There is no self-service refund flow. The Refund Policy explains the launch process for remaining credit, payment errors, disputes and required remedies.
Liability and governing law
To the extent permitted by law, AsterWise is provided as available and VectorQ Lab is not liable for indirect, consequential, special or lost-profit damages arising from service use. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian consumer protections.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, without limiting mandatory protections that apply where you live. Contact support@asterwise.dev before starting a dispute so we can try to resolve it.
