Data Collection Policy

What AsterWise may collect

AsterWise collects API and playground content by default for routing research and evaluation. AsterWise does not collect or use customer content for model training or training preparation. Retained material may include the request content your tool sends, supplied conversation history, instructions, tool calls and results, model responses, routing information and submitted playground originals.

Drafts and unused uploads are excluded. Text-only playground conversations do not require a stored original object. A successful inference request does not establish that your coding task succeeded.

Purpose and retention

Research records may be used for routing research and evaluation, but not for model training or training preparation. Research material may be retained indefinitely under this policy.

Research storage is best effort. An unavailable archive may produce missing or incomplete records without delaying inference or changing your bill.

Collection as part of the service

Required operational, security, usage and financial records remain separate from research collection. Contact support@asterwise.dev for privacy or account-closure requests. Provider processing needed to answer requests is governed separately.

Secrets and original files

Text research copies use high-confidence credential redaction, but detection is not exhaustive and does not guarantee removal of personal or identifying information. Research records may contain account and request identifiers and may be linked to an account. Avoid supplying unnecessary personal information, passwords, private keys or other secrets.

Original files included in an actual playground provider submission can be copied unredacted and labelled as originals. Research-copy redaction does not alter the content sent for inference.

Model providers

AsterWise sends required request content to the selected model provider. Providers process data under their own applicable terms. Depending on the provider and service terms, providers may use processed prompts and responses to train their own models, including Meta. This is separate from AsterWise research collection.
